About Journey Deeper

Journey Deeper Social Upliftment NPC (“Journey Deeper”) was born from a community of people who successfully initiated, supported and maintained several projects for more than two decades, to meet the needs of the vulnerable. We operate in the city of Bloemfontein (Mangaung) in the Free State of South Africa. We aim to bring hope to vulnerable people and communities by providing access to basic physiological needs as well as safety and security.

For more than a decade, our main focus has been on distributing food, clothing and basic social services to a diverse beneficiary population. It is the vision of Journey Deeper to use the experience gained and relationships built to further the impact within and beyond the various communities.

Our community is diverse with various skillsets and experience. We have relationships with various organisations with a similar focus and purpose to ours.

Journey Deeper is a faith-based organisation. We are bearers of hope, worthy in God’s eyes. “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Eph 2:10.

Journey Deeper is a non-profit company incorporated under Section 21, registration number 2023/158081/08. Journey Deeper is a registered Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) with registration number 300-673 NPO and registered with the Governmental Department of Social Development. Journey Deeper is a registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) with the South African Revenue Service (SARS), registration number 930082675.
