Our Current Projects
The possibilities to assist local organisations and individuals are endless. Currently, we support the following projects and individuals:
Jean Webber Home
This is a home for people with disabilities. As a community we occasionally visit and spoil the 40 residents.
Ons
Kinderhuis
At this orphanage, we run various activities to support 15 young girls on a monthly basis.
Car
Guards
On Saturdays, we distribute food parcels to 20 car guards at the Southern Centre shopping centre.
Domestic Worker Skills
We offer weekly sewing classes to 15 domestic workers in the Pellissier area to upskill and train them.
Food Basket Project
This project provides monthly food parcels to needy households. Currently, approximately 350 households are reached annually. To empower families and promote stability, courses on financial planning and life coaching are offered.
Trauma and Counselling
Included in our community, we have individuals who are qualified trauma counsellors and life coaches. We spend approximately 875 hours in counselling annually.
Soup
Kitchen
The soup kitchen provides meals to the unemployed in the Pellissier suburb on Saturdays. Approximately 500 meals per year are distributed.
Tshepang Youth Centre
Tshepang is a home for orphans on the outskirts of Bloemfontein. We assist with the provision of basic needs for 10 children. There is a great need at this orphanage for further assistance and ongoing maintenance of the premises.
